About Me

I'm a small business, just like you.

Hi! I'm Bryan,  I'm the Singaporean solopreneur behind optimize.sg with over 11 years of local and overseas experience in IT and Project Management. I currently serve as CTO for a startup and act in a consulting capacity for SMEs and MNCs alike. As a small business owner myself, I understand many of the growing pains you face and would love to help you solve your IT issues. If you are a sole proprietor yourself and concerned about costs, I assure you we can work something out. Let's talk!

P.S. Those are my friends in the photo, not my employees :P

FAQs

Hey, nope! I am completely unrelated to IMDA's programme in any way whatsoever. I had this idea for CTO-aaS for a while and finally decided to act on it and IMDA happened to come up with the idea around a similar timeframe.

From what I am aware of IMDA's initiative, the consultants that advise SMES on the CTO-aaS programme are limited in the scope of offerings they can recommend. For example, most solutions that they recommend may need to have first been approved by other government schemes or authorities. I am able to advise on both government programmes and grants as well as services not covered by government programmes and grants, providing a truly bepsoke consultancy for each and every client. Lastly, instead of merely consulting and advisory, I am technical enough to take on some of the responsibilities you would normally need to pay a vendor or staff for if you went with IMDA's CTO-aas programme.

If you find yourself in the position of hiring your own IT employee, then absolutely, please do! As you may see from my pricing list, most of my pricing is catered to small clients and I do not have a price for organizations of more than 30 employees as I strongly believe it would be best for such organizations to hire their own IT specialist. I can however perform an assessment and recommendation for their IT needs, assist in the interview process, and even train the IT staff for such organizations as part of the deliverables instead. Nevertheless, if there is still a desire for a larger company to contract me for my services, I will gladly quote!

While I did build this site myself, I am unfortunately in no way a specialist in design. For solely digital marketing, I will suggest that you approach more specialized businesses. However, if you would like to contract my services, I can work with my network of partners to deliver you digital design and marketing services too!

Yes, I do! Discounts are available for sole proprietors, charities, NGOs or non-profits, please contact me for more information!

I'd strongly suggest we get on a call and speak! Alternatively, you can drop me a message and I can send you a sample quote and proposal, however it will be subject to change as I would require an understanding of the size and scope of your business.

Feel free to jump on a call with me; it's free! But I'd first like to add a disclaimer if you are a very early stage startup and require a technical co-founder to build the product from scratch, AND you have little to no funding... I'm probably not the guy you want. Development is not my strong suit, I can code but you will probably find a lot more proficient developers out there than me. My expertise lies in networking, integration, deployment, DevOps, product and project management and other things. If you want to build a team to develop the product, I can definitely help. But if you want someone to build the product for you, I have to admit that you're probably better off collaborating with someone else as I'm not going to be able to do it at the speed you will probably require.
